André Coruja is a musician and composer born on the Equator Line, in the middle of the world. The ideal starting point for those who feed on the music of both hemispheres, mixing the Amazon traditions with the pop language of European songwriters. Formed under the aegis of the World Music of the Amazon, he launched himself into the world and made home in the footsteps of walking.

As a child, he moved to Belém (Pará), where he grew up and had his first contacts with music and literature. The greatest desire has always been to write songs.
