d Curtis, the chilean singer-songwriter with a knack for indie pop/rock heartbreaking songs coated by the Britpop atmosphere that marked the mid-90s on her majesty’s land, presents now “All That I Do”, a song that echoes its influences from projects like Travis, Oasis or Coldplay.
The brand new single is the first taste of “My Own Time”, Ed’s debut album to be released soon and that will be presented live on an Iberian tour taking place at the end of July with the support of Music For All.
Ed Curtis is a natural singer-songwriter from Santiago de Chile who started playing in the 90s. After going through several bands as a guitarist and composer, he settled in Berlin to prepare his first solo work in an indie rock/pop optic Influenced by the Britpop movement of the mid-1990s and bands like Oasis or Travis.
In September 2014, the musician began playing live shows for singer-songwriters at the main bars in Berlin and from October to December Ed began recording his first EP, "Haunted Feelings" at the Berlin Makers Factory, which included five original songs in acoustic versions. The EP was released in major online stores in February of the following year.
After the experience in Berlin, the musician returned to South America, where he dedicated himself to writing new songs and preparing material for his first album in the company of Argentine producer Hernán De Micheli at Sonorico Studio in Buenos Aires. From the creative partnership of three months was born in September of 2015 a second EP, "Watching You Go".
Ed Curtis currently resides in Buenos Aires, having completed the works of his second album, “My Own Time”, with which he will also be touring Portugal and Spain next July, with the support of Music For All.
