Directly from Galicia is about to arrive in Portugal one of the most particular projects of the Spanish musical scene. They are called Gelria (name adopted in honor of Manuel Antonio, Galician poet who was still aboard the Dutch ship ... Gelria) and are a trio composed by Elena Tarrats, Federico Mosquera and Mario G. Cortizo.
Already in August the Portuguese stages will witness this curious fusion of Folk, Jazz, classical music and traditional music, creating a sound where poetry is central. They presented to the public with "Canzón pra que un neno non durma", a single extracted from "Cantos de Poeta", CD / book edited in 2016. Soon the concerts will be announced in Portugal, so stay tuned!
